The Sound of Music with Melanie Parr, the original Gretl

You'll be spellbound by Melanie relating her experiences in first getting and then growing into the part of Gretl in Rogers & Hammerstein’s production of The Sound of Music.
 A really entertaining evening beautifully aimed at the musical's audience; full of songs, anecdotes and memories of 60’s and 70’s London’s West End theatre and some of its lovable characters.

Pinocchio

Farnham Rep are delighted to present Pinocchio in the version written by Illyria, the Award-winning theatre company.
Everyone thinks that they know the story of Pinocchio but forget Disney. Carlo Collodi’s original version is much more sinister and thrilling. Illyria’s production is based entirely on the original and the cast's boundless energy makes sure that the audience feels part of the adventure as Pinocchio embarks on his quest to become a real boy with many dramatic events unfolding along the way.
Collodi’s story of redemption is also a hysterical satire on growing up – and both children and adults will recognise the reality hidden behind each episode of the play. Featuring a leading actor whose nose really does grow and a 20-foot shark, Farnham Rep's Pinocchio is suitable for everyone aged 5 and over and is not to be missed!
